This year's Dakar Rally was a success for the Polish Tomcat Team and Turner Engineering.

No 489 Albert Gryszczuk/Jaroslaw Kaszberuk  was placed  95th overall and 43rd in class   -   Modified all-terrain vehicles: 4x4 petrol .

No 488 Robert Gorecki /Ernest Gorecki although not scored due to driver illness  also completed the 4918 miles to Dakar , a true test of endurance.

Both vehicles are powered by Turner Engineering 4.0 V8 engines built  with ductile iron flanged liners and performance cylinder heads. The specification is identical to those supplied for road use and is available for a modest extra cost as part of the Turner Engineering service exchange program
